Instalacion de VMWare Tools en CentOS 6.4 Redhat 6.4 RHEL Fedora 18
Esta ocasión veremos como instalar las herramientas de VMWare en CentOS 6.4 y este procedimiento es compatible con Redhat 6.4 RHEL Fedora 18
1) Selecciona la pestana VM -> Install VMWare Tools
2) Monta el CD en Cent OS y seguir con el procedimiento:
[root@Centos6 ]# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt
[root@Centos6 ]# cd /mnt
[root@Centos6 mnt]# cp VMwareTools-* /tmp
[root@Centos6 mnt]#cd /tmp
[root@Centos6 tmp]# tar -xzvf VMwareTools-*
[root@Centos6 tmp]# cd vmware-tools-distrib
[root@Centos6 vmware-tools-distrib]# ./vmware-install.pl

[/etc/rc.d]What is the directory that contains the init scripts?

[/usr/lib/vmware-tools]The installation of VMware Tools 9.2.0 build-799703 for Linux completed
successfully. You can decide to remove this software from your system at any
time by invoking the following command: “/usr/bin/vmware-uninstall-tools.pl”.Before running VMware Tools for the first time, you need to configure it by
invoking the following command: “/usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl”. Do you want

file and text copy/paste), you will need to do one (or more) of the following:
1. Manually start /usr/bin/vmware-user
2. Log out and log back into your desktop session; and,
3. Restart your X session.
